We all had a wonderful time last weekend at Tangle Island Victoria at the McTavish Art Academy!
The McTavish is such a great facility..... we had plenty of space to move about, do our eco-dying outside in the sunshine, and sit comfortably inside two to a table. Jerryann and I both think it will be a great venue for future classes.
All our students loved the eco-dying process! We had so much fun picking plants and leaves for our eco packages. Thanks go out to everyone who brought goodies from their garden.
After drying all our beautifully eco-printed pages, we made little Bitty Bookz (thanks to Chris Titus for a great tutorial!)

Such great eco-impressions! |

The smoke bush makes great deep blue/grey prints. |

We also learned fun techniques using watercolour pencils. I know I am looking forward to playing with these techniques all summer!
And then Jerryann spoiled us again by introducing us all to Tessellations! So many possibilities!
Thank you to all students for making teaching so easy and enjoyable. We'll see some of you in two weeks at Tangle Island in Parksville.
