Transportation - Parksville

Retreat attendees are expected to provide for and arrange their own transportation.  The links below direct you to helpful sites with maps and specific directions for driving, flying and using the ferry.

How do I get to Parksville?

Flights

There are several airports on Vancouver Island; Victoria International Airport and the Nanaimo Airport are the most commonly used by travelers.

Victoria is about 150 kilometers from Parksville and would require a shuttle, bus or private vehicle to get to the MacMillan Arts Centre from the Victoria International Airport.  Naniamo is about 50 kilometers.

Ferries

You may take a ferry to get to Vancouver Island.  Check out the BC Ferries for schedule and fares.

After you register for the Tangle Island Workshop you will be given access to the TI 2020 Facebook page.  Post your ride needs there and someone may be able to assist with a ride or your transportation questions.
